Membership Requirements

Membership to the RCEC is open to individuals employed with an agency that enforces Federal or Provincial Legislation; or Municipal By-Laws enacted within Canada.

The categories of membership of the Council have been updated as outlined below:

Active Member

An Active Member is an individual:

• who is employed with an agency that enforces Federal, or Provincial Legislation, or Municipal By-Laws enacted within Canada; or
• who is employed with an agency that supports the regulatory compliance or enforcement community through the inspection, investigation or prosecution of any legislation enacted any place within Canada,

An Active Member shall have full voting privileges.

Honorary Member

An Honorary Member is an individual:

• who has been granted honorary membership, by a resolution of the Board, in appreciation for outstanding service to the Council or to the profession; and

An Honorary Member shall not have voting privileges.

Affiliate Member

• Affiliate Member: An Affiliate member is an individual:.

• who is employed in a role that supports the regulatory compliance or enforcement community; and

• has paid the dues established by the Board

An Affiliate Member shall not have voting privileges.
