Interviewing entails a host of skills that need to be honed consistently. Our science-based learning modules enhance the efficacy of our approach and help participants improve their abilities. Our model is in line with recent UN recommendations and Canadian laws. \n\n\n\nThe Advanced Investigative Interviewing course will help participants develop legal and ethical interviewing strategies while using evidence-based approaches to generate the maximum amount of accurate information from interviewees. A modern\, four-step model is the foundation that helps participants develop effective interview or interrogation strategies through a host of scenarios and Interview Scrums. \n\n\n\nWHO: Are you required to conduct interviews with stakeholders\, licensees\, witnesses\, victims or accused persons? DESCRIPTION:This program will help navigate the ever increasing judicial scrutiny around Charter protections pertaining to searches. \n\n\n\nIn this program learners will be taken beyond the basic elements of search warrant preparation and execution. Structured as an intermediate course\, the program will explore the following topics: \n\n\n\n• Best practices for obtaining and planning search warrants. \n\n\n\n• Current rules pertaining to obtaining and planning search warrants\, including understanding Reasonable Expectations of Privacy. \n\n\n\n• Focus on structure in preparing an effective and complete Information to Obtain (ITO). \n\n\n\nThis is a two-day course. Students will be required to complete independent work following the two day instructional sessions. \n\n\n\nIn order to successfully complete this course\, each learner must demonstrate their knowledge by creating an ITO which will determine their final mark. \n\n\n\nThis program will be delivered virtually\, in English.

DESCRIPTION:This program will help navigate the ever increasing judicial scrutiny around Charter protections pertaining to searches. \n\n\n\nIn this program learners will be taken beyond the basic elements of search warrant preparation and execution. Structured as an intermediate course\, the program will explore the following topics: \n\n\n\n• Best practices for obtaining and planning search warrants. \n\n\n\n• Current rules pertaining to obtaining and planning search warrants\, including understanding Reasonable Expectations of Privacy. \n\n\n\n• Focus on structure in preparing an effective and complete Information to Obtain (ITO). \n\n\n\nThis is a two-day course. Students will be required to complete independent work following the two day instructional sessions. \n\n\n\nIn order to successfully complete this course\, each learner must demonstrate their knowledge by creating an ITO which will determine their final mark. \n\n\n\nThis program will be delivered virtually\, in English.
