DESCRIPTION:Learn and practice skills and strategies for successful interviewing in a regulatory and enforcement environment. \n\n\n\nAll Regulatory personnel need to speak with people to be successful in their role. This one day course has been developed for staff in any regulatory role\, whether or not it is an administrative or a field based assignment. Participants will be able to develop their skill sets in conducting an interviews\, and understanding the responsibilities\, categories\, and strategies needed to become a successful interviewer. \n\n\n\nThe students will also be able to reflect on various interviewing strategies and how to shift between them. \n\n\n\nThe main objectives include: Discuss the Interviewers mindset; Controlling the Interview; Interviewing responsibly; Categories of interview subjects; Communication Strategies; Virtual Interviewing; Signs of possible deception; Practical exercises \n\n\n\nThis session is being offered virtually.
